Personal Bio
Megan Baker is a compassionate funeral director and grief support worker who found her calling through personal loss and community service. After the profound experience of losing her son, Kai, in 2016, Megan dedicated herself to empowering others in navigating death, grief, and end-of-life planning.
With a background in counseling, community services, event planning, and training, Megan has a deep commitment to educating and supporting individuals and families. She specialises in crafting meaningful farewells that reflect the essence of those who have passed while honouring the needs and wishes of their loved ones.
Now actively engaged in community outreach, Megan works to ensure that the process of death and dying is placed back into the hands of individuals and communities in ways that are accessible, personal, and empowering. She is grateful to serve in a role that helps create spaces for connection, education, and meaningful support during life’s most significant transitions.
