Long Lunch with Friends - End of Year Celebration
How lovely it was sharing a long lunch with friends for our end of year celebration!
2020 has been a challenging year but our last event for the year on Sunday November 29 was a perfect opportunity to relax, reflect and enjoy.
Hosted by Cheryl and her team at The Bluewater Bar in Port Macquarie, the delicious 3 course lunch was complimented by the music of Jessica Flanagan, a brilliant young talent from Wauchope.
Share the Dignity's #itsinthebag initiative is the annual end of year fundraiser we love to support. With all donations going to Liberty Domestic & Family Violence Specialist Service, members and guests donated 34 beautiful handbags as gifts to local women at risk. A unique and powerful way to make a real difference for women and girls experiencing domestic violence homelessness or poverty, bags were lovingly filled with essential personal items to bring joy and dignity for those in need this Christmas.
Boosting our fundraising this year was the sale of exclusively designed HBWN earrings made by our very own HBWN Membership Coordinator Holly Mullington. A must have accessory, all profits from the sale of HBWN earrings goes to Liberty and can still be purchased for a limited time by contacting Holly at hbwnmembership1@gmail.com
