International Women's Day 2022
We were thrilled to celebrate our 12th annual International Women's Day on Tuesday 8 March with over 250 people at Panthers. It was a special morning with the spotlight firmly on how we as a community can #BreakTheBias the issues around women's equality.
Keynote speaker Elizabeth Broderick joined us via video to share her learnings from her time as Australia's longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner and provide insights from her numerous reviews into Australian workplace cultures. Her sage advice to "do what you can, when you can, to advance women's equality" really resonated with our audience.
Guest speakers Shiree Bennett, Sarah Yuen and Emilie Lapointe shared their inspiring professional journeys and how they have challenged stereotypes in traditionally male dominated industries to #BreakTheBias in their workplace and communities. Facilitated by Stacey Morgan, the discussion drew real life experiences on how we can all work toward a world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive.
