2020 International Women's Day Garden Party
What an amazing International Women's Day. A glittering afternoon of champagne, inspiring women and good friends.
2020 marked the 10th International Women's Day event hosted by the Hastings Business Women's Network, Leslie Williams MP and the IWD Committee and was an opportunity to reflect on past global event themes such as #pressforparity, #neveralone and #balanceforbetter and honour the 10 Years of Hastings Heroines award winners.
Guests were truly inspired by guest speaker Sam Barlow's personal story of courage and resilience over adversity and encouraged to "never, never give up" on their goals.
The annual International Women's Day events have raised over $100K for local women and children's crisis accommodation, run by Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services.
