2019 International Womens Day & Hastings Heroines Event
The Hastings Business Women's Network (HBWN) and Leslie Williams MP, hosted the annual International Women's Day and Hastings Heroines Awards on Friday 8 March at Panthers Port Macquarie.
More than 300 men and women attended the breakfast and award ceremony that acknowledged local heroines who are making a positive difference and leading the Hastings community towards a better gender balance.
Guest speaker, Lisa McAdams, discussed her unique perspective as a domestic violence survivor and successful career woman, who now helps workplaces support women experiencing violence.
The event raised over $16,500 for Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services.
