1 Million Women June 2021
HBWN were thrilled to have teamed up with 1 Million Women, MidWaste and the NSW Government's Love Food Hate Waste program to bring you an extraordinary event at the Mecure Port Macquarie on Thursday 24 June 2021.
Over 80 local women joined the 1 Million Women movement and were captivated by guest speaker and 1 Million Women founder Natalie Isaacs who has been empowering women to make the world a better place for over a decade.
Natalie shared her journey, passion and savvy ideas on how we can all do "just one thing" to help minimise food waste and make a positive difference to the environment.
"Small changes are empowering. I encourage you all to fall madly and deeply in love with the earth."
Now more than ever its imperative our businesses commit to sustainability and responsibility. We all have a role to play, as business owners and as citizens and members of our community.
